Labeling of Jewellery Items by ACME Infovision Systems Private Limited

Along with two Departments - Safe & Counter introduce a third & new Department called Labeling in the shop. To reduce the time for Labeling & to increase the accuracy of Weight Entry, connect Weighting Scale to PC. Now, Goods by Supplier & Ornaments by Goldsmith are collected at Safe. After Quality Check, they are taken for Labeling. In Labeling, Weight, Product Category; Supplier or Goldsmith Name, Hallmarking details, Design No., Studding Details etc. can be entered on a single Barcode. Even for Boolean Items, Lot wise Labeling is done. After Labeling, each Labeled Item is transferred to respective Counter via Location wise Stock Transfer. Now after, making a Sales Bill is much faster & accurate activity because Making Charges, Weight, Diamond Details are being taken automatically. Occasionally, Customers might buy a part of the Ornament. Like in case of Chain & Penndel, they might demand only for Penndel. In that case Chain which remains with the Counter is referred as Remaining New Gold i.e. RNG. This RNG is transferred to the Safe. As usual practice, transfer Old Gold directly from Counters to Safe. Some time, you might have to change or remove the Label from the Ornament. In such case, transfer the Labeled Item to Safe. At Safe, once the Label is removed, the Ornament loses its Identity once again. This is De-labeling. This De-labeled Item is transferred to Labeling for New Identification. For your convenience, you can Reprint the Old (i.e. Tarred) Labels just by using Reprint Labels Document. In all such activities, it is important to authorize every User with proper Rights of Handling the Operation. So, implement the User Level Security provided by the Software. So now, the Single Ornament will carry its own Identity & will be traced easily, where ever it goes. Even the Counter wise Stock will be tallied effortlessly. Finally, the Item wise Stock Maintenance issue will be overcome via Labeling.
