HTC range of Vacuum Pumps are of oil immersed Rotary Vane Type, The sliding Vane Pump has a cylindrical housing. The Rotor, linked by its shaft to an electric motor via a cooling, usually carries two spring loaded opposing blades to ride on the stationary housing. As the rotor turns, a blades sweep the stator walls and gas molecules entering the inlet of the pump pass into the volume created by the eccentric mounting of the rotor in the sector. The gas is then compressed forcing the exhaust valve to open and permitting gas discharge. The inlet port and exhaust valves are separated by a contract area where the housing in machined to the same radius as the rotor. A film of oil is used on all moving parts to lubricate and seal the pump.

HTC Range of Oil Ring High Vacuum Pumps are available in Single Stage as well as Double Stage (the two stage pump can obtain much lower pressures than a single stage.) with Gas Ballast, a device which to some extent allows the pump to condense vapors without condensation thus avoiding oil contamination and with minimum maintenance, our pumps are easy to install and have infinite life even with continuous and silent operation round the clock.
