The 6550 system has a tunnel size of 650 mm by 500 mm and can scan objects that exceed standard dimensions for hand luggage. 6550 provides highly efficient solid state detectors which are maintenance free and smart algorithms for superior detection capabilities. It uses a high-resolution photo diode x-ray array detector that increases detection sensitivity, improves image resolution and optimizes image presentation. It is equipped with a standard 80 KV generator, and is also available with 100 and 140 KV and dual view versions on request.
