Monoset Water Pump

SchematicsMonoset water pumps typically have three main components: the motor, the pump, and the pressure switch. The motor is the main power source for the pump and is usually an electric motor. The pressure switch is a device which turns the pump on and off at predetermined pressure levels. The pump itself consists of an impeller, volute, and shaft and impeller housing. The impeller is responsible for creating the pressure, the volute and impeller housing contain the impeller, and the shaft transmits the power from the motor to the impeller.
