Planetary Rovers

Planetary rovers are wheeled robots designed to explore the surfaces of planets, moons, and asteroids. In general, these robotic vehicles are designed for long-duration missions, often lasting for months or years, and often carry analytical instruments such as cameras and spectrometers to provide detailed scientific observations of the surfaces they explore. The rovers also carry navigation and communication systems, allowing them to navigate and transmit data back to Earth. So far, several planetary rovers have been deployed, including the NASA Mars rovers, Curiosity and Opportunity, the ESA Exomars rover, and the JAXA Hayabusa2 rover.
