 Katalox Light^®System effectively remove turbidity fromsurface water, ground water and any waste water is coated with Manganese dioxide. The  Katalox Light^® granules have an angular shape, rough high micro-porous surface to filter water down to 2-3 microns. The rough surface and very high  porosity provide a huge surface area for efficient reduction of dirt, silt and suspended solids. 

 Katalox Light^®structure creates very less pressure loss,high service and flow rates and high bed loadings combined with lower back wash frequency. 

 Katalox Light^®System for Arsenic, Iron, Manganese, H₂Sand other metal removal is a simple system that needs no potassium permanganate  (KMnO₄) or chlorine.

 Katalox Light^®filters can be operated at the flow rate of50m/h (20 gmp/sq. ft) with a single pressure vessel with and it requires only 10 minutes  backwash time with the flow rate of 20 m/h (8 gpm/ sq. ft).
