General description:

The plant consist of skew roll conveyor type shot blasting chamber, inlet and  outlet vestibules, including in feed and out feed skew roll conveyor, airless blast rotors, abrasive recycling system, air wash separator and storage hopper, dust extraction system and control panel for operating the machine.

Operating system:

The powered skew roll work conveyor to convey and rotate the maximum size of gas cylinder of 16” dia in and out of the machine. This machine will accept gas cylinders with intricate shapes and embossed bottoms E. G. Oxygen and other gas cylinders. Blast rotors are arranged in such manner to cover surface as well as top and bottom portion of cylinder. The cylinder is then transferred to out feed conveyor for onward process.

The thrown abrasive is transferred to bottom screw conveyor through gravity feed hoppers provided in blasting chamber. The bottom screw conveyor transfers the abrasive to bucket elevator boot section. The elevator elevates the abrasive to an upper separator. The abrasive is air washed in separator for removal of dust, fines and other contaminants. Cleaned and usable abrasive is collected in storage hoppers below separator for re-circulation to blast rotors. The ventilation system is provided for blast cabinet, separator, elevator and vestibules for effective dust extraction.
