Available in six different sizes, Puma WY vacuum booster can be designed to perfectly suit all fine and high-vacuum applications in which the performance of the fore pump ust be drastically increased or optimally adapted to the process.
The Puma WY 0250 B and WY 0500 B are the two smaller vacuum boosters in this series.

Ideal for difficult processes
Puma WY vacuum booster are perfect pumps for COBRA screw vacuum pumps and other fore pumps. They are excellently suited to pump aggressive or toxic gases through a water-cooled canned motor, which is fitted as standard. Due to the absence of shift passages, it enables absolute leaktightness to the atmosphere.

The Puma WY can be controlled using a pressure switch that activates the Roots vacuum pump of the fore pump once has achieved the optimum pressure. Alternatively, the Puma WY is also available in versions that are controlled by frequency converters.'

Puma WY vacuum booster can be flanged directly onto the fore pump or in any other position on the system.
