OMI Vertical Open well Submersible Pump is a product developed by the continuous efforts of our R&D Team and our experience in manufacturing pumps for the past 3 decades.  The pumps are manufactured as per IS 14220.These pumps are manufactured with utmost care and perfection to give a trouble free and efficient performance.
These vertical openwell centrifugal submersible pumps are used in openwells or tanks. These type of pumps need no adjustment in position as they rest in the bottom of the well or tank, hence the situation of priming does not exist. These pumps are multi stage pumps which help to increase the head range. The base, suction, upper hosing, lower housing and delivery are made of grade cast iron. The motor body and pump body are made up of Stainless steel and the impellers and diffusers are made of noryl materials.  These pumps are powered by rewindable water filled submersible motor suitable for continuous duty. The stator is wound with special water proof poly synthetic film, insulated copper winding wires and low watt loss steel stampings. Specially designed water lubricated high performance thrust bearings are used to withstand axial and down thrust loads. Motor sealing in done with rubber grommets, ‘O” rings, oil seals and sand guard to avoid the ingress of water and other particles into the motor.  Rubber diaphragms are used to guard against pressure and volume variation of water inside the motor. The motors must be filled with clear cold water before erection. These pumps are designed for wide voltage fluctuations.
