Product Description
We hold expertise in manufacturing and supplying a wide range of Vertical Slurry Pumps. These pumps are widely used for spillage applications in beatification plants. These Pumps are manufactured as per international industrial standards and widely acclaimed for robust construction, easy maintenance and optimum performance. These pumps have no gland box, submerged shaft seals or bearing. This eliminates requirement of sealing water, guarantees minimum maintenance. The bearings are fitted above the sump level with heaving double protection against penetration of slurry. These are reasonably priced.
Wear parts are available with Ni-hard, Hi-chrome, natural rubber, CD4MCU, SS316, CF8M etc.
Vertical Slurry Pumps are available in various types:
Type-I: standard pump with closed impeller and extended suction (inlet).
Type-II: pump with spray hole casing, semi open impeller, spray holed in the casing helps part of slurry pumping back to the sump to agitate settled solids in the sump.
Type-III: pump with agitator.
Agitator is attached to the extended shaft, which helps to agitate course solids settled in the sump. More suitable for pumping course rapid settling solid setting solids like iron ore, coal, gold, chromite ores and other allied materials.
- Capacity: 5-600 m3.hr
- Head: 6-55mts.
- Discharge Size: 25 TO 200MM.
- Frame size: 40,60,80,120,150,180,220cms
Simple Installation:
- The larger units are normally bolted to a permanent base plate, Free suspension in the sump by the lifting yoke is preferred for the smaller pumps. Both shaft bearings are located in a cylinder which is normally located above the base plate for accessibility and protection. Special designs giving extended length with the base plate above the bearing are available on request
- Vertical Slurry Pumps can also supply a series of submersible pumps with pumping elements from the CVP range.
Cantilever Design:
The CVP pumps have no stuffing box, submerged shaft seals or bearings. This guarantees minimum maintenance and eliminates any requirement for sealing or flushing water.
Bearing Assembly:
A rigid shaft is fitted with roller bearings for 70.000 hours minimum life. Impeller clearance is maintained by external axial adjustment of the shaft and bearing housing assembly, the bearings have double protection against penetration of slurry.
Wear Parts:
- Standard pumps are normally supplied with parts in transfer molded natural rubber, high chromium iron or Ni-hard alloy. Other materials such as synthetic rubbers, polyurethanes and stainless and stainless steels are also available for most pump sizes. Wear parts in different materials are fully interchangeable.
Vertical Slurry Pumps Are Available In Several Basic Types:
- Type-I Semi-open impeller and pump casing with spray holes. Part of the pumped slurry is returned to the sump. This not only agitates so-lids in the sumps but also De-aerates the pumps to prevent air blocking.
- Type-II Closed impeller and flanged pump inlet which allows fitting of an extended suction pipe to increase the pump working depth.
- Type-III Semi- open impeller with extended shaft and slurry agitator. This design is particularly suited for coarse, rapid settling solids.
