Primary and secondary valves are used to regulate tank pressure, while fill valves are used to fill the tank with water. Primary valves are also used to release water in the event of an emergency. Secondary valves are used to control the tank's level of water when it is near capacity. Fill valves regulate the flow of water into the tank, while also preventing overfilling.
