Flapper Valve

A flapper valve is a type of valve used to help regulate fluid flow in a piping system. It consists of a flapper, which is a loose-fitting, curved, triangular piece of rubber or plastic, and a control valve, which adjusts the flow of fluid. The flapper valve is usually installed at the end of a pipe, and is opened and closed by a mechanism of the control valve. When the flapper valve is opened, it allows fluid to pass through the pipe, and when closed, it prevents fluid from coming out. The flapper valve is commonly used to regulate the flow of air in HVAC systems, and is also used to manage water levels and build-up in sewage systems.
