Lighting Transformers

Lighting transformers are devices used to reduce the input voltage of alternating current electricity to a lower voltage more suitable for the use of electrical loads. Depending on the application, lighting transformers may be used to power low voltage lighting systems, magnetic and electronic lighting ballasts, and other lighting accessories. They typically have a power rating of 20 to 75 watts, and are designed to work with a particular type of application or with a specific type of electrical load.
