Mini Ball Valve

Miniature Ball Valves (also known as mini ball valves) are designed with smaller dimensions than standard sized ball valves. They are used when space limitations are a concern, either in a confined area on the installation surface or inside a tight area in the pipeline. Mini ball valves have a similar operation to standard ball valves; a ball inside the valve body has a rounded orifice that permits fluid flow when the bore is in line with the flow and interrupts it when the ball is turned 90 degrees by the handle. They are available in sizes from 1/4" to 1/2" and are most often used in residential and commercial plumbing applications, though they are also common in industrial applications as well.
