Made out of 40 NB ' B ' class confirming to IS 1161/1239 cups are provided at 500 m.m.c/c in the standard product. Cups at 1000mm. c/c is optional.

Erection Procedure :- Before commencing the erection of any cuplock scaffold, care should be taken to see that the ground is suitable. on soft or made up ground, the scaffold should be erected on timber sole planks. Bricks and blocks should not be used. Always commence erection at the highest point of ground. This will make leveling easier as the scaffolding progresses horizontally.

Lay out ledgers and verticals for the first bay in approximates positions. Then insert an adjustable jack into each pair of vertical.

Connect the verticals with the ledger in the lowest cup joint, by inserting the cups. Leavel the verticals as shown.

With one man still holding the first pair of verticals, the second man inserts a jack into the third vertical and connect in to the first pair with a ledger. The upper cups can be dropped temporarily into the locking position. The structure is self supporting and the fourth vertical can now be connected by a further ledger and the bay leveled as shown.

The first bay of cuplock is completed by locating the upper ledgers. It is now a simple matter to extend the scaffold structure by connecting ledgers.
