Rotational Molds

:Rotational molds are a form of plastic-forming process which involves using heat and rotation to shape mass-produced parts from polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC and other thermoplastics. During the rotational molding process, a mold is filled with a powder or liquid resin, which is then placed in a heated oven. The mold is then rotated at both high and low speed angles, which causes the resin to be evenly distributed over the entire mold. Heat and pressure are applied to the mold until the material has completely adhered, resulting in the durable, lightweight and corrosion-resistant parts used in many industrial and consumer products, such as rotomolded kayaks and floats.
