Our Clinker Grinders are designed with an integral drive shaft arrangement which have lot of advantages compared to the conventional drive i.e. chain and sprocket type. This eliminates heavy wear & tear and breakages involved with chain & Sprockets.

Manganese steel rolls are of work hardening property. The characteristic of this material is such that hardness increases with a period of operation and it can cater to hard clinkers, to crush down to the size which can be pumped/sluiced easily.

The drive to driven roll is through a set of totally enclosed sealed body timing gears made out of EN-8/9 steel material thus ensuring longer life of the gears.

Head shaft bearings are located outside the conveyor assembly in completely sealed bearing blocks thereby ensuring that no ash ever enters and damage the same.

The bearing block assembly and the bearing can be removed as one assembly thus reducing the breakdown time and maintenance is very easy.

The bearings are fitted on the taper sleeves which save the shaft from damages while replacement and fixing. M.S. fabricated guards are provided to prevent water/ash from infiltrating into bearing areas.

The shaft sleeves are keyed on to the main shaft for firm grip and protection of the shaft due to loose sleeves, which normally occur when grub screws are provided. Steel sleeves are provided below oil seals to prevent wear on the shaft and hence subsequent damage to it.
