"Multi Spring Unbalanced Seal are used to avoid distortion at high speeds and ensure uniform pressure on seal faces under all operating conditions. Further, this kind is widely used in various industries for different applications such as rotating equipment, pumps, mixers, agitators and compressors.
GST-MSP/UB-05 series are multi-coil spring unbalanced seals, with ‘O’ ring or PTFE wedge. Shaft fretting is minimized due to lower spring loads provided through wedge or ‘O’ rings, occupies less stuffing box area due to its narrow cross-section & compact design.
These seals can be easily assembled or dismantled through circlip provided & can be changed to balance version of its type merely by changing the carbon face & can be provided with single, double or tandem arrangement with external seal support systems & devices.
