Pulley driven pumps offer flexibility
in operating speeds. As the pump flows are directly proportional to the
operating speeds, exact flow requirements can be addressed by using
appropriate types and sizes of pump and prime mover pulleys. These pumps
are extremely efficient being pulley driven and run almost pulsation
free on account of lower operating strokes. This feature also helps in
considerably reducing the noise and vibration levels. Pulley driven

transmission.
